  • Active circulation – In this scenario, the collection of water takes place with the aid of electric pumps, valves, and collectors. With the help of this system, the movement of water takes place through the pump. It is a way through which the water is pushed to the apex of the closed circuit and is done with the aid of solar collector down to the point where the accumulator lies. In this particular type, the circulation of water between the collector and the accumulator cannot happen by natural means because the warmer water is already at the highest point and that there is no natural convection that will displace the cold water placed at the bottom. In order to attain this circulation, the requirement of a conventional water pump is essential that will need the support of external energy. With the help of the pump, the fluid will be driven to the lower part of the collector.
